Christian Bale (Getty Images) Christian Bale won his very first Oscar tonight at the 2011 Academy Awards! He won the prestigious golden statue for his role in The Fighter.He got up to the stage and thanked the usual suspects, saying:
"I'm not going to drop the f-bomb like (Leo) did, I've done that plenty of times before."
He also managed to thank his wife last, and teared up in the process! It's a great night for Bale, who's been due for an Oscar for many years. It's already a great night for the flick and it's stars -- Melissa Leo also won the Oscar!
